Weekly Round Up
Hi guys! Happy Sunday!
I'm writing from Atlanta today, where we escaped to after the weather warnings from Hurricane Florence! I can honestly say I never expected to have to run away from the mountains because of a hurricane, but it’s all happening! Despite the weather, we're spending a long weekend with family and friends, celebrating my little brother, Braeden's, 18th birthday! I can't believe I'm even writing that, because he'll always be about 12 to me!
I've been itching to write this post, because I am SO EXCITED about it! It's all about gratitude. You know how you wake up some mornings with a smile on your face because your heart is so full? I've been feeling that now - more than ever before, and it makes me so happy and excited to write about it, because it proves (to me, at least!) that, by focusing on gratitude, joy, and positivity, it a) becomes a habit and b) it grows! Exponentially!
You might ask what I'm so grateful for, and believe me, I'm gonna tell you! This week in particular, it's been focused on the love in my life, and the people who love me. I've really been feeling the effects of chronic fatigue, adrenal fatigue, and whatever else those blood tests are indicating (more on that later) for the last two and a half months. My mom and Nick have been wonderful; they've taken on more than their fair share of responsibilities to make sure that I can rest, have been super vigilant that I'm eating well and often, and reassure me time and time again that we're gonna figure it all out and that everything is going to be okay.
I could tell you about a hundred different, tiny little things that they've done, but trust me on this: I am one grateful, blessed girl, and I’m constantly reminded of it, especially when I start letting little frustrations or anxieties creep in.

My practice for the week is (you guessed it!) focused on gratitude as well: Yoga With Adriene's Grounding Root Chakra Yoga flow. My meditation for the week is this 5 Minute Guided Meditation and Body Scan by Yoga with Candace, but I'm inviting you to join me during this short time to focus on how grateful you are to be alive, breathing, and surrounded by love.
