Weekly Round Up
It’s been a GORGEOUS weekend in Atlanta. I feel like I finally took a deep breath after a super busy week, full of travel and deadlines…but honestly, I’m not complaining. I love my job.
We spent all day yesterday watching football (and I’ll be honest…I polished off a pint of Larry and Luna’s Coconut Bliss Chocolate and Salted Caramel ice cream by myself. But it’s coconut milk so it’s definitely healthy and I won’t believe anything otherwise).
Fair warning though: it’s delicious and addictive and “one little bowl” turns into the whole tub.
Actually, the whole week has been awesome, other than Charlie having to have an unexpected - but thankfully minor - surgery. It went really well, and he’s recovering like a champ…and eating SO MUCH!
We went back to my hometown for my mom’s birthday last Monday, and got to spend a few days with my grandparents and my 94 year old great-grandfather. Plus my sister and I are looking forward to starting a new recording project with our band in the next few days!
But before we dive back into the studio on Monday, I’m going to catch a few more football games (Go Bears!), eat copious amounts of Korean barbecue with Nick and my dad, and listen to The Killers on repeat, because I’ve just realized that Battle Born might be the best record of all time.
Wishing you the happiest of all Sundays…unless you’re a Dolphins fan, because I really hope the Bears win. ;)
