AIP Diet: Resetting for 2019 with Paleo on the Go

Happy Saturday!

Wishing you all a sunny, peaceful weekend! Mine’s full of family and football (two of my favorite things), and - of course - food!

One thing’s for sure, I’ve been waaaaaay more mindful about the food I’m eating after the holidays. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great to a) find balance in eating healthy and indulging on special occasions and b) lose the guilt trip when you do have a Christmas cookie or two, but after indulging quite a bit, I noticed the familiar feelings of sluggishness, heaviness, and an overall “not at my best” feeling.

I know how different I feel when I’m at my best. My movements are fluid and easy; my mood is calm and positive, and I can make decisions without anxiety. I’m more in tune with my gut (literally and figuratively) and aware of what’s going on in my body. Some of that is based on how regular my yoga and meditation practices are. But a lot of it is based on the food I’m eating.

For me, that means Paleo-based, whole, nutrient dense foods like bone broth, organic, grass-fed beef, and healthy fats like coconut oil, but eating a Paleo diet isn’t always the easiest! Most restaurants aren’t down with the caveman philosophy, and if you’re anything like me, you don’t have time to spend hours and hours in the kitchen. Luckily, Paleo on the Go is here to help.

Paleo on the Go has been one of the greatest discoveries I’ve made. I was always interested in meal delivery services, but could never find one that was Paleo/allergen friendly, meaning no grains, no dairy, no soy. Paleo on the Go offers all of that and more…like a total AIP reset.

I spent a few months last year on a strict AIP diet (you can read about my experience here), and while it was far from easy, it was the best thing I could’ve done for my health. I was experiencing flair-ups and inflammation throughout my entire body (muscle and joint pain, chronic fatigue, digestive problems) due to medication, and I was sick, weak, and malnourished. Thanks to the AIP diet, I was able to reduce inflammation and reset. Unfortunately, it took about a month for me to get in the swing of things, since I was doing it on my own.

Now, Paleo on the Go is offering an AIP reset. It’s perfect for anyone with chronic inflammation, or if you just want to get in tune with your body and its response to food. In my opinion, the AIP diet is the cleanest, most nutrient-dense diet out there, and this reset is a great way to kickstart a healthier, happier, more balanced new year.

The reset is only available to join through Monday, January 14th, so if you’re almost two weeks into the new year and already having trouble meeting those resolutions because of inflammation, sluggishness, or just not feeling your best, help your body by wiping the slate clean and listening to your gut.

Lots of love,

L
